📌 ITINERARY

🌸 Sabtu, 6/10/18

- KUL ➡️ Siem Reap (6:40 am - 7:50 am)

• 8:30 am - Beli sim card dekat airport - Metfone (unlimited data for 7 days 3$)

• 9:00 am – 10:40 am - War Museum
Entrance fee $5 per pax

• 11:00 am - Angkor Wat Ticket Booth - beli tiket untuk masuk Angkor Wat esoknya
Entrance fee $37 per pax untuk pass 1 hari. Must buy at ticket counter.

• 11:30 am – Lunch @ The Hut, Prasat Bakong (jalan otw ke Tonle Sap)

• 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm - Tonle Sap ➡️ Kampong Phlouk (floating village)
Lake boat ride fee, $15 per pax.

• 4:00 pm – check in hotel

• 6:00 pm – Dinner @ Muslim Family Kitchen Restaurant

• 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm - Phare, The Cambodian Circus
Entrance fee $18 per pax (totally worth the visit!)

Address: Phare Circus Ring Road, just south of the intersection with Sok San Road, 2km from Old Market & Pub Street. Depending what part of town you’re traveling from, it’s normally a 10-20 minute tuktuk ride.
*No entrance allowed after the show has started

• 1:30 pm - Lunch @ Muslim Family Kitchen Restaurant (tried Chicken Fried Rice, $2.50, serius sedap)

• 2:00 pm – Balik hotel mandi sebab jalan kat Angkor panas terik

• 3:15 pm – 8:00 pm - Cambodian Cultural Village
Entrance fee $12 per pax (worth the visit)
Learn about pelbagai kaum dan bangsa yg ada di Cambodia through 30-40 mins culture dance/performance. And learn about history of Angkor Wat temple through dancing show performance. Paling best sebab Din (our tuk tuk driver tolong translatekan and give synopsis before every performance ) Per day ada about 6- 7 shows start from 11 am to 8pm. Highlight is “The Greatest King – Jayavarman 7th”, only showed on weekend.

• 8:30 pm - Angkor Night Market - Pub Street – shopping & massage (massage sini murah2)

• 11:20 pm – Late dinner/Supper @ Pot & Pan. Take away pizza, $3.

• 10:30 am - Artisans d’Angkor
Free entrance – learn how they do handcraft using many sources such as, metal, batu, kayu, seramik, painting etc.

• 11:15 am – Brunch @ Muslim Family Restaurant, Ustaz Haji Musa

• 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm - Old Market, Psar Chaa (shopping)

Free entrance – tapi boleh juga tip tour guide sebab dia explain everything about the silk-making process.

• 11:30 pm - Take sleeper bus to Phnom Penh

🌸 Selasa, 9/10/18

• 6:00 am - Reached Phnom Penh bus station, take rickshaw to Hotel tuk simpan barang

• 7:00 am – Breakfast @ Halal Restaurant (opposite hotel sahaja, taste dia biasa2 je)

• 8:00 am – 8:30 am – Walking to Wat Phnom

• 9:30 am - Walking to Wat Ounalom

• 10:00 am – Central Market and Mall

• 11:30 am – lepak tepi Riverside

• 12:30 pm – check in Hotel, Rest and makan maggi lol

• 3:30 pm – Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (Recommended to go to better understand Khmer history)

• 5:30 pm - Babylon Restaurant (ooposite Genocide Museum)- Kedai Arab (sedap, affordable, portion besar (nasi boleh makan 2 org)

• 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm - Walking along Riverside - Phnom Penh Night Market - River Cruise

For river cruise, masuk take pic sahaja Free (asked their permission), if nak travel across the river need to pay $5, start 5:20 am and last 6:40 pm.

• Makanan Cambodian/Khmer yg famous - ayam/daging/ikan masak lok lak, amok dan lembu naik bukit
• In my opinion, in Siem Reap, makanan dekat Muslim Family Kitchen Restaurant paling sedap sekali. Sebab tu asyik pergi situ je. Berselera sungguh makan.
• Ice cream rolls - 1$ beli dekat night market (sedap and rasa nak lagi )

Tuk tuk/Rickshaw from PassApp Taxi (mcm Apps Grab, cheap, many drivers so minimal waiting minutes, less risk kena tipu ngan driver sbb dah ada fare stated, can eliminate communication problem since most drivers cannot speak english, paling mahal pun from hotel to airport about 10km fare 3-4$)

Hotel @ Phnom Penh. Booked Point Boutique Hotel - 1 night
* RM108.88 for 1 night (room for 2 pax)
(Room quite small, hotel not provide iron, breakfast provided tapi simple je n tak sedap sgt pun)

📌 TIPS & NOTES

1. Aktifkan debit card CIMB sebab siem reap n phnom penh ada ATM. So withdrawal tak kena charge. If withdraw other ATM kena charge rm10.

2. Sim card beli kat airport siem reap cheaper than airport phnom penh. (Eg Metfone kt Siem Reap 2$ lagi murah for same package).

3. Kalau tak sempat/lupa nak pre-book tuk tuk, boleh terus pergi ke Muslim Family Kitchen Restaurant, nanti dia boleh bagi recommended contact number tuk tuk driver.

4. Plan itinerary/susun tempat yg ingin dilawati ikut distance dan lokasi baik2 sebab certain places jauh2 dan tak nak buang masa. Contoh macam itinerary saya yg asal dah berubah bila sampai selepas bincang dan tengok map dengan driver tuk tuk. Itinerary saya share ni dah adjust dari plan asal.

5. Distance from 1 place to 1 place dalam Siem Reap jauh2 so memang recommended pre-book tuk tuk siap2 sebelum sampai. Kalau tak mahal dan rugi ambil dari Apps atau tuk tuk dari airport.

6. Phnom Penh kalau nak cover banyak tempat u can pre-book/hire tuk tuk for whole day. If not, just order from PassApps Taxi if required (tak larat jalan) sebab most of the places are within walking distance.

7. Bawa dan pakai face mask masa naik tuk tuk sebab jalan agak berdebu especially ke Tonle Sap/Kampong Phlouk.

8. Dekat Kampong Phlouk, kena kuat pendirian sikit sebab nanti kat situ diorang macam pujuk2 naik bot kecil tuk pusing kat Kampong tu lalu sungai2 kecil, tengok pokok bakau, etc yg boat besar tak boleh lalu. Tak seronok sebab diorang macam mendesak. Naik boat kecik kena bayar additional $10-12 per pax. We don’t expect and budget for that so we just refused their offer. Anyway, the boat ride was fun and took about 1.5 to 2 hours. Just a bit spoiled our mood when the boat driver pun macam pujuk2 suruh naik bot kecil2 tu jugak. And be careful dengan scam n orang mintak sedekah juga ye.

9. If ada rezeki lebih @ duit belanja lebih, boleh la bagi tips kat orang Kemboja sebab diorang mostly cari income from pelancongan especially dekat Siem Reap.

10. Kalau nak pergi Killing field, better pergi yang dekat Phnom Penh sebab lagi besar dari Sieam Reap.

11. If nak tengok sunset dekat Angkor Wat kena gerak as early as 4:30 am. And make sure bawa makanan or breakfast dulu before pergi sebab sana xde makanan halal.

12. Recommended to visit Cambodian Cultural Village on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) sebab lebih berbaloi dan lagi banyak performance best2 compare to Weekdays.

13. If want to save money on the audio guide, please bring another one headphone/earphone sebab can plug in 2 headphone/earphone in one rented audio device. Ref: Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.

14. Orang kata compare between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap night market, better lagi Siem Reap sebab nothing much u can get at Phnom Penh and price a bit expensive.

15. When go for shopping, make sure bargain for the lowest/unreasonable price dulu, then seller akan counter for the best deal. Good bargain, good purchase. He he.

16. If nak beli souvenir and not enough time to survey, just directly go to Kedai Rizy Sity sebab dia punya paling murah dah. Like T-Shirt can get as cheap as $1 - $2 per piece, fridge magnet 5 pieces $1, etc..
